lose power when i go from park to reverse or neutral

when i start my truck and go from park to reverse, neutral or drive my truck
voltage goes down so i have to give gas so it wont die. Had alternator
checked and was fine. Also the dash lights flicker as well

Sounds like 3 issues. The alternator needs to be checked at idle speed while disconnected. The battery neds to be tested while disconnected. Then the vehicle low-idle, or curb-idle speed needs to be checked and adjusted.
