Wont start after running for awhile

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After I drive my 93 chevy silverado for
awhile in warm weather with the stock 350
v8 5.7 litre, if I turn it off it wont start until I
pop the hood and let it sit sometimes up to
an hour. Ive replaced the starter twice. Any
ideas?

replace the starter solenoid...and make sure the heat shield is there
