I have a 1989 Chevy Silverado 1500 twodoor step side. My rear passenger blinker and brake light do not work but when I turn my lights on the red light turns on. Just not my brake or my blinker.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I flip the turn signal for that
side it makes the clicking noise much
faster than when I turn left and my
front passenger blinker works it just
clicks a lot faster. I changed the
bulbs when I first realized it wasn't
working but it still didn't work.

I checked all bulbs and they are good on the front and rear. I even switched out the bulbs I thought were bad onto the other side and they worked perfect. They're just not blinking or turning on when I break. They turn on when I put my parking lights on though. And when I put the bulbs in (that are perfectly good) from the other side they didn't work. I have no clue

Remove the light assembly, on the back there is a printed circuit board. It has gone bad. I have found them for under $20 on eBay. This will definitely fix that problem.
