1947 Plymouth powered by chevy, conversion automatic to manual
I have a 1947 plymouth with a 350 chevy motor and a turbo 400.  What would be the best way to convert this to a manual transmission. The brake pedal come from the floor and there is no clutch set up. I was playing with the idea of putting a regular 4 speed transmission or a 5 speed or even a six speed manual transmission.
I'm just trying to get ideas and how much work and money this would cost.

quite a bit of work involved in this and could run into quite a bit of money, leave it like it is sounds nice.you may think of a shift kit for the auto.

Agreed, there are manual transmissions obviously that would work with the 350, but you're going to end up doing a lot of cutting and rebuilding.  If you are doing the work yourself it would be cheaper, but I'd imagine paying someone for this would be in the $2000 plus range.
