yea man either do it urself or take it somewhere to get it done.

Thanks folks, I parked it in the sun to heat it all up and get the stuff soft, peeled the black off in one go, more or less, was left then with a gluey gooey residue which was beeing very stuborn so petrol on a kitchen pad got it off.

pay to get it done to take it off and replace will cost you 150$ well worth it
