Does any one know how to remove the tint from the inside of the rear window without damaging the heated element

A metal tint scraper, a lot of care and a steady hand. :D That or you can go to a really good tint shop bro. :D

yea man either do it urself or take it somewhere to get it done.

Thanks folks, I parked it in the sun to heat it all up and get the stuff soft, peeled the black off in one go, more or less, was left then with a gluey gooey residue which was beeing very stuborn so petrol on a kitchen pad got it off.
