d14z2 tuning, turbo, v-tec

Hi, I've got a 99 civic with d14z2 (90HP) under the hood. What would you suggest to speed it up a bit?
Heard some rumors that it's possible to get a v-tec to that engine, is that true? What would I need to get if it's possible?
I'm also thinking about putting the turbo kit. Any ideas what would be best?
Is it recommended to get the full exhaust package at the same time?
How will petrol hunger look like after that kind of tweeks?
Don't want to spend a fortune on it, but don't mind paying for something that makes a real difference to the power I have now.
Will appreciate an advice.
Cheers

get a gsr motor and you will surely feel the difference and then work on the head put a couple of type r parts and even a turbo...and you will be moving and of course tune your car if your putting turbo on it

I don't want to change the engine, want to tune a bit what I have. Relize it's not gonna be a rocket, but why not make it a bit quicker? v-tec in that engine would suit me for a while
