After Typhoon Ondoy

actually theres no critical damage to my car and it still runs pretty well  after being drenched in knee-high flood. but still i had to make sure to prevent further long-term damage in the future. got new pistons, replaced battery and high tension wires, auto detailing, rewired electronics, lights and sound system, underchassis repair and waterproofing, drained and replaced the exhaust system, replaced rusted brake rotors. i spent about 700 bucks (peso converted to dollar) for all these. air filter, spark plugs, computer box and fuel line are all safe though. the stench inside the car is still there, but it's quite alright. my car's due next week and it'll be up and running again. i was just wondering, did i make a bad decision in reapairing it too early, coz right at this moment, another super-storm is heading our way. just wanted to make sure and be able to escape flooding in time.
