About: Lexus ES 300
My door says its open but it isnt.
My door has a problem with believing that it is shut... If i press the little button that reads the door shutting it works, and says that it is shut. The problem is that it started doing this for no reason, i havent been in an accident or damaged it. Whats wrong?

its probably just gunked up, pull the rubber off from around the little button that reads the door shutting, spray some WD-40 on and around the button, wipe it clean and press it a few times until it feels that it is moving a little more freely. if that doesnt work you can do some ghetto fabricating but super glueing a pencil eraser to the tip of the button, and re installing the rubber boot that goes over top of it, may not look pretty but itlll get the job done
