standard transmission change

i have a 1997 sc1 4 door with a standard transmission. will a transmission from a1997 sc2 2 door standard trtansmission work ?

any transmission will work. If you want to keep the same gear ratios for the cruise control to work, you'll have to use the transmission from another SOHC car between 91 to 97.
