stalling 94 taurus sho
ok i have a 94 sho automatic, it has a ticking sound at 750 rpms-1,000 rpms, stalls at random with a engine light that some times flashes, the car won't go over 5,000 rpms in drive, misfires and stalls after about 2 minutes of driving, does not acclerate smoothy and doesn't have full power, starts up good cold, the car will not stay running, and will idle smooth until it jumps randomly, the rpm gauge has gone hay wire jumping and falling, the car has 129,000 miles on it, here is a video of the engine running: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6IhwejqYCGE i would like to either fix it or replace the engine any help is great, thanks
ok no bull shit do you drive this thing like a hot rod? it sounds like something is seriously wrong with the valvetrain start the car and put a piece of paper near the exhaust about an inch away if it the exhaust trys to suck the paper in there is a valve issue.
