About: Ford Ranger
No Heat
I have a 95 Ranger XLT and the heat doesn't work. When I turn it on it just blow cold air and the AC kicks on even when its on heat. I already tried replacing the the heater control in the cab and that was not the problem.

A couple things... you could have a bad thermostat (does your truck overheat at all?) You may also have low coolant level, fill it up if its
low, and when you try the heat do you set the control to defrost or floor/face, if you set it to defrost that may be why the A/C
compressor kicks on and pumps cold air...

No the truck operates at normal temperature and the coolant level is topped off. I don't set it at defrost.
