capless easy fill nozzle at pump wont go in tank

the nozzle at gas pump wont go into tank on pickup  whats wron with the flapper on the inside how do I fix this I am almost out of gas

Are you sure you are not trying to put diesel fuel in a gasoline tank. That is the only reason I know that it would not fit because the nozzle of a diesel pump is bigger then a regular gas pump to keep people from putting in the wrong type of fuel. If that is not it you will have to take it to dealer or a mechanic.

If it is not the size of the nozzle on the pump it has to be the flapper. Push it with you finger, it should open easily. If it doesn't you will have to bring it to a mechanic to have it repaired. It is probable the flapper is part of the fill tube which is part of the EVAP system. Do not force it open to add gas unless you absolutely have to. If the flapper does not close you can damage various parts of the EVAP system. Some are pricey.
