I have a 2002 f150 when weather turns cold anti theft won't let truck start sometimes. Try later will start right up. any ideas again

yes...under voltage condition exists to the ignition relay or fuel pump relay...operational relays do not like the cold temps and the battery had better be NEW because the tin/antimony alloy batteries (NO LEAD ANYMORE) will stop taking a charge ten percent per year...five is old especially in hard service in a cold climate~....NEW BATTERY...clean 1/0 battery/chassis connection with a wirebrush...mmmmmok?~

My 2001 is doing the exact same thing. It got below 10 this week theft was keeping it from starting. I was thinking of heating the cab or something
