Location of keypad entry module for 2010 Explorer sport trac
Hi I am looking for the location of the keypad module so I can get the five degit code. I have a 2010 Ford Explorer Sport Trac
It's not anywhere on the car. You're going to have to it to the dealer to get scanned. It cost around $50.
I don't know for sure but I DO know that the Crown Victoria's had the code on the module which was mounted behind the driver's door panel. I would probably call your local Ford dealer and ask a service advisor to make sure but the dealer will probably look behind the door panel for it anyway. Kenny..
Ok, I could be wrong about the door panel. These answers were posted about 4 months ago so maybe you should check these places out first before going to the dealer. Let us know what you find. Kenny. #1 If it is a Gen 1 you have to pull up the vent panel of the dashboard and peep through the windshield above the passenger side airbag. There is a sticker on a cream colored box with the code on it. Mark helpful .. #3 We are talking about a Sport Trac, NOT a regular Explorer. Sport Tracs do not have a "rear hatch". I have read a project on another Sport Trac website that has pictures and shows exactly what I am talking about.
Hi It is not on the 2010 Sport Trac. I went to the Dealer and had to pay $55.00. Thanks, Joel
