my 2000 eddie bauer manual does not match my dash board. Can not find 4 wheel drive switch?

manual that came with car shows 4 wheel drive switch on dash, but does not appear in my car.

http://www.explorerforum.com/ntrprize/spec2000.htm --- they had 2 wd and 4 wd models. Are you sure yours is a 4 wd?

It maybe full time 4 wheel drive so there will be a buton. Did they say it was 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive? If all wheel drive there is no button it kicks in when it is needed
