do i need to replace the whole transmition to replace the shifter in my 1983 ford branco2

my shift stick will not go into reverse and i need to replace it

nope just taker the shifter out replace it with another one ask ford mechanic for further advice ud prolly have to do somethin with the gears and bearings too though

no u can replace the shifter,check your shifter cable before you start replacing parts.
