Wheels & tires

What is the biggest tire I can put on my Mustang? I'm looking at a 20" rim. 81/2 front and 10 inch  in the rear. Will a 305-35-20 fit on the rear without rubbing?

I have 275 40 r17s and the back ones dont rub, but the fronts will when i turn the wheel all the way (but my car is lowered 2" also). even if the back tires rubbing were an issue you can get wheel spacers for the rear to give you extra room inside the wheel well. The problem youre going to have with that tire size is that the overall diameter changes to 28.3" from 25.7" your speedometer is going to be way off. select a tire with a different aspect ratio (meaning lower profile) 305-25-R20's (26 inch overall diameter) should work fairly well, but your ride quality is going to suck. If you need wheel spacers checkout americanmuscle.com although pep boys does sell them up to .5 inch thick. put it this way, 305's are about an inch wider than what i have on my car.. shouldnt pose a problem.
