Which 4v engine should i get??

I have a 03 v6 and want a v8, should i get a s/c cobra engine and trans or a mach 1 engine and trans. they r both from totaled cars and have about 40k on each, the cobra cost about 1200 more

definitely go with the Cobra S/C motor....its actually a stronger engine capable of more. You can't buy a supercharger for the Mach 1 engine to get the same HP. In otherwords you WILL be much happier with the Cobra engine!!

Go with the cobra engine, The 04 cobra's ran 12.70's with a good driver, and the Mach 1 ran mid to high 13's 04 cobra engines are actually quite a bit different and quite a bit better!

the mach is the same engine component wise. It just doesn't have the stock Heaton and the mach has a higher compression ratio. I'd take the mach and put a 2.8 Whipple on it

depends on what years the engines are what years are they??

cobra engine is built to handle boost and will comfortably handle 6-700 hp....mach one engine wont like boost and doesnt have forged internals I believe
