I under stand the question as "When I remove foot from gas the engine still runs fast" If that is question then ... does the engine ever slow back down after a while? If could be the spring on the throttle has came off or has broken or maybe the cable from gas pedal is binding or kinked. TURN OFF ENGINE /// Open hood and look on engine . U will see a cable and linkage ( follow your air filter duct to the engine) move it to make sure it's not stuck or binding and maybe you can fix problem yourself ..... have a friend move the gas peddle while you watch

#1 shouldn't be driving it, needs immediate attention! Throttle body probably need a good cleaning along with the linkage before determining if it is a AIC sensor or something.
