Left and Right head lamp dipped problem on 2009 A4 1.8T

I have experienced a weird problem in my 2009 audi a4. A few months ago, the left zenon head light started flickering for a couple of minutes then turns off. an indicator on the on board computer shows left headlamp dipped. the audi dealer in jordan fixed the problem by changing the zenon lamp, and ignitor. a few months later the same thing happened with the right headlight.

has anyone experienced such a problem? do these problems keep on poping up or is it just a small manufacturer's error. please advise.. the car is absolutly amazing to drive and all but such few weird errors freaks me out especially when the warrenty runs out...

its normal. you don't need to go to the dealer. i would go there just to get the warranty. but after the warranty is out, you can fix a lot of things like that yourself very easily.

ask the dealer to fix the problem. it sounds like it may be a faulty ballast or wiring, not the bulb.get it taken care of now because those hid bulbs can be very expensive when you are paying for them out of your own pocket.  I'm on my second A4 and i'll tell you, i've never driven a better car. if you treat it right. but don't let things go because they can get pricey. if you have a wiring problem audis have been known for them. but i guarantee you that if it is your only problem you are going to love the car for hundreds of thousands of miles.  my last one had over two hundred and ran like the day i bought it.
