Changing the bulbs on headlight and fog light

Hi, could someone give me instructions on how to do this? My headlight lamp and fog light
bulbs are burned out. I got new ones at autozone. I managed to get the lamp assembly out of
the headlight, but cant get the bulb to come out of the socket.

Here is a guide for the 2001 Miata http://forum.miata.net/vb/showthread.php?t=144601 It seems they pull straight out but it may take some force to remove them.
