pretty sure it's an overhead cam so there wouldnt be lifters. depending on the type of tick it could be sticky valves (if it's a higher pitch tick) or if it has a bit more of knock it could be that the oil hasnt reached parts of the engine to quite the problem. there are knocks that ppl will hide by putting in a thicker oil to cover the real problem

My oil intake screen in my oil pan got very clogged after years of low $ oil changes, so u need to have newer oil
