High Beam Computer Issue

I have installed a Code 3 Model 710 flasher and its works until the car has started then the computer shuts down the power for the high beams.  I am just trying to use this flasher in the car while its running.  I just don't understand the programming that its shutting down the power while running.  Any ideas or schematics to bypass the computer.
