How much does a 1998 Chevy 10 van transmission cost to repair?

Really hard to cost as we don;t know where you live, but typically a replacement or remanufactured one is going to cost a little more. It's all in the labor costs. But to replace the trans, the ballpark is $3-$4K. To rebuild it ballpark is $1.5-$3K.
