screeching sound

Why when I get to the speed of 70 MPH, I hear a loud screeching sound. The Kia Dealership told me it was because the wind was speed going over my car. Please help, can not afford to put more money into another vehicle NOW. Almost paying this one off, 6 more months left. Anyone out there please HELP!!!!!!

Quite possibly it is a belt slipping under load and at high acceleration. I would try to stay under 70MPH if possible, and replace the serpentine belt and have it properly tensioned.

I would have your brakes examined. You could be chewing into your brake rotors causing a serious brake failure in the future.

i don't think its the brakes, but i have a strong feeling that its the serpintene belt.
