passenger widow , slipped out and dropped into door
just taken the door panel off , the motor was fine but the white clip has broken off from the front end, can i fit it with some sort of kit or will i have to pay the £80 the garage is asking fro?
Same happened to mine, i feel your pain, you can get a kit from ebay for 35 pound ish which fixes it using new metal clips and winches,
not too bad a job plus there are plenty guides on web, hope this helps :)

by the way if your car is 5 years or less there is an extended warranty that vw have got. because it is a known fault, so ask them if your car is covered before you shell out your hard earned cash. hope this might help. and apparently in the states there's are covered for 7 year. us brits seem to get screwed over on everything.
