worn valve guides is quite a common problem and rot under the wheel arches where the seatbelt mounts are on the rear also chassis rot if it has had a hard life also be aware of tin worm in the bottom of the doors and at drainage points as theese are often overlooked when cleaning the vehicle

like most landys easly repaired and parts are abundunt so look for the obvious also the switch gear can cause headaches but again easly repaired hope this helps you out if you are thinking of buying one as they are very good workhorses and are so easy to work on and repair regards uk
