sticking accelerator

i have had two accidents with my 2009 optra because of accelerator sticking, ANY ONE ELSE HAVE PROBLEMS WITH GAS ACCELERATION?

yeah i just got into an accident with my 2004 optra because of the accelerator. I put on the gas and it just floored it, and when i slammed on the brake it would not stop. i was on a stone road that was under construction. And when i ran into a car the car was stopped but the tires would not stop and the tires dug into the ground until i turned the car off.
