About: Ford Granada
major transmission problems!!! plz help
well im from south africa and the proud owner of a 1978 ford granada 3.0 auto. well it blew the seal on the bell-housing and now im being told that the gearbox is burt out... is this even possible? well getting it fixed is being a hassle because of the age, anyway any advice will be apreciated

well there is no seal on a bell housing but i imagine they meant the input shaft seal. This could lead to failure if most or all of the fluid leaked out.
