What is the best Mercedes-Benz car ?

For me the best car is the Mercedes 300sl gullwing.

1992 mercedes E Class. Thickest leather, thickest metal, bulletproof 3.0, stout trans, says BENZ from a mile away (prominent grill and square headlights). 99% German, beautiful wood. One of the world's best 4 doors -- race car suspension under a sheep. Next best? 190E with the 2.6. We are Benz Boyz -- dropped the 3.2 twin into a 190 E -- far, far too much work. Yahoo!!!!!!!!!!

The 2006 E320 CDI of course :-). 151k on the clock and still going strong, 35MPG on the highway!!! I love this car. Still looks and drives amazing after 10 years.
