My 2012 195i BMW has a loud fan on a/c and heating and apparently is putting a film on inside of windshield

Asked by Merlegirl Jun 26, 2014 at 12:20 PM about the BMW 1 Series

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My BMW continues to get a film on inside of front windshield when running air
conditioning.  The fan is so loud you cannot talk to passenger in front seat.  Is this
normal?  It is a 2012 with 30,000 miles.  I purchased the car used and I think it is still
under warranty.  Is this something that I should have checked before warranty expires?

1 Answer

I have an appointment with BMW rep who will look at windshield. Motor was replaced and now has a lot less sound.
