You may want to count the number of spark plug wires in your R8 again because they don't make a V12 model.

Actually lamborghini has had a v12 for decades now, but it was never put into the R8 as this guy seems to think :P

THAT'S JUST IT. AUDI AND LAMBO HAD AN AGREEMENT BEFORE THE R8 WAS BUILT. THE R8 IS BUILT OM THE SAME CHASSIS AS THE GALLARDO IN EXCANGE THAT AUDI ARE NOT ALOWED TO PUT A V12 IN THE R8, BECAUSE IT WOULD THEN BE A HEAD ON COMPETITOR FOR LAMBO'S CARS. THE BIGGEST ENGINE IS THE V10. SORRY.
