Mercedes-Benz ML350 Forum : “any idea what to expect re: cost on Major service for 04 ML350? Thanks so much”

what kind of major service are you having done

Please be more specific with your question in order for us to provide an accurate answer.  What type of service are you having done?  Is it typical service based on mileage or is the vehicle not working properly?  Is it being performed at a dealership or other?

The light has come on in the dash with the two wrenches that tell you to service the car in "however many  
miles". I am not taking it to the dealer but to an authorized repair shop. I also have an extended warranty that should cover any "major" repairs not included in the typical service. The car has 67,000 miles on it. I am just trying to get a general idea what to expect so I won't be taken advantage of. I also realize that the price of services are different areas so just a general idea if you might know. Thanks!
