Dear kcb07crb--  Your 1997 Blazer is meant to have a size 78 battery, meaning that is the size that fits in the space in your engine compartment.  Make sure you let the person know what car you need it for when you go in to buy it.  The parts guys are usually very knowledgable and very helpful.   Good luck from Bovan.
