i have a 95 Monte Carlo ls coupe and my low trac light came on for a little bit and then shut off and when i step on the gas pedal it revs to high and doesn't want to give it barley any gas. like it will go but barley. any ideas as for whats wrong? 1 Answer

low trac light came on for a little bit. and gas pedal doesn't want to work right. recently put new fuel pump in, and new heads.

2000 Monte Carlo LS 3.4l. The trans. work good, shift up & down smoothly. But "ONLY" when I squeeze the gas pedal to the floor, the trans doesn't shift to 2nd. 2 Answers

I replace the TPS, MAP Sensor, and many more, but at least does two looking to fix that issue. Even one time, I get mad and leave the gas pedal to the floor, and that it strip one of the valve rocke...

My monte carlo is a barrel v8. I have a problem, when i start it and it is idling it runs fine but when i go to put it in drive and try to run it it pops at the catylytic converter and it back fires and turns off and then it is hard to turn on. I have changed oil,oil filter,fuel pump, rubber hoses coming from carb, plugs and wires,distrubitor cap and rotor,fuel filter, and rebuilt carberator.
