Small red lamp by digital clock is on constantly.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Instead of blinking when the doors are locked, the red lamp is on all the time. I recently had a new battery installed but it seems to drain as the motor does not start immediately after standing for a night or so. Does the fault lie in the start relay? Can anyone explain what a patch is?  Thanks

light is aintitheft needs to be reset,as for battery drain that would not cause it that quick, sounds like the vehicle has a live short causeing battery to go down, start by haveing alt, starter checked.
