sticky accelerator

Why is the accelerator sticking on my 200 Chevy Astro?  I've had it serviced 3 times for this problem and it is not corrected.

Has the cable been replaced?

Pull the air cleaner and everything off back to the intake going into the top of the engine. I use AmsOil Foam Cleaner. I start the van and spray it directly into the engine intake. Work the throttle a few times and spray it again. The engine will stumble a little but that cleans out the intake that gets gunked up with fuel. Make sure you do not spray any of the sensors in the air intake system. If you take the air filter housing out and the rubber/plastic air hoses off back to the metal snorkle on the top of the carb you will be fine.

Good luck,
Bob
