how can i tell what engein i have and if its a ls or a lt

i was hoping you could tell me, how too tell what motor i have by the vin, and if you could tell me what pacage LT or LS i have by vin

There were no LT or LS packages on the 2001 Tahoe. The standard engine was a 4.8L 275 hp 8, and the optional engine was a 5.3L 285 hp V8. I'd advise checking the engine to determine which you have.
