Did you try going on N.A.D.A. blue book? Check them out because my car was totalled back in Jan. and, they were right on the mark with the value.

I'm buying an 85 next month, with about 50,000 miles on it and has no rust, but does have brand new snow tires. The asking price is $800. I did not even think of negotiating.

I have an 84 Le Sabre 4 door I bought with 15,000 miles in 1986 for $8,000. It now has 385,000 miles and burns no oil with no serious maintenance on engine or trans but has rust on one rear fender and top is badly rusted. What a car. It has the Olds 5.0 liter, a marvelous engine. It has new tires so is probably worth $500. with a trunk full of new parts.
