1989 Cadillac Sedan DeVille 5.2L .318cu.in stalls during opporation

Driving down the highway when without warning just shut off. After pulling off the road there were no tell tale sighns from
under the hood.I even manually flexed the throttle & the engine sounds tight, then will just choke out. got it running for
about five miles & shutoff after the exit. It had to be towed. Seventy bucs. Ouch!!!
Troubleshooting the problem requesting help.

Could be a couple things. I have the same issue. Replaced fuel filter and throttle position sensor. Problem still occurs. And my tank is full. I'm going to try some fuel system cleaners and better octane fuel. If that doesn't work, replace fuel sending unit $800 and catylac converters $800.
