well after a little bit of research, there are a couple very minor contributing factors for the tl, this seems to make the biggest difference 1) 3.2 l engine (base model) or 3.5 l engine (type s model)
the 3.2 l will do 0-60 in the high 5's low 6's the 3.5 l will do 0-60 in the mid to high 5's
