Glo Plugs

I own a 1997 Diesel Dodge Ram which I know has glo plugs.  I just bought a 2008
Ford F450.  My friend has a Ford F350 and tells me he has glo plugs.  I don't see
anything in my owners manual about glo plugs only spark plugs.  Can someone set
me straight on this?

The owners manual is mainly for the gasoline engines. For information on the diesel engines you need the "Power Stroke Direct Injection Turbo Diesel Owner’s Guide Supplement".
