needs jump start frequently, gauges go haywire, dash lights flicker

Our Trailblazer needs jump started frequently, yet erratically.  I have replaced the alternator and the battery.  It still needs jumped occasionally (about 3 times a month).  Today, it wouldn't start and the dash lights started flickering and the gauges started bouncing all over the place like it was shorting out.  Please help me!!
