run my vibe car in neutral position

some fell from my windshield, i accidentally hit my stick shift while i was driving on the road to neutral position. And I didnt realize I hit to neutral position.  All I know my car start to slow down.  I am worry if that could damage my car engine.  i would appreciate if u reply to my email.

probably not. you could have been in the right RPM to do an RPM shift anyways, it is not actually necessary for a vehicle to have a clutch, it just makes things 10 times easier to drive. and if it was to damage something, it would have hurt the transmission. if you didnt hear the unmistakable sound of grinding gears, you'll be ok.

2010 vibe when shifted from reverse to nutral dies out starts in nutral shift's into drive fine but to nutral dies out ??
