Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I use the lock switches on the driver-side and passenger-side doors, they do not unlock nor lock the sliding doors. The key fob does not work on the sliding doors, either.

UPDATE: Periodically the automatic locks on the sliding door will work with the key fob and the front switches. Usually this is in cold weather. When the weather warms up, they stop working and I have to unlock them manually.

You need to replace the door-lock actuator motors. They lock and unlock the doors. O'REILLY has a competitive price on this. Auto Zone tends to be a little higher.

The electronic actuator motors/really a push pull wrapped magnet assembly are probably done. They are cheeply available at any local auto supply.Just be careful removing the door panel.
