ABS and TC light always on

Was driving up a VERY steep access road from the beach, front tires slipped once. After driving on highway the same day a couple of hours later noticed dash lights AB and TC on. pulled over turned off car, lights went out but came back back on after a few miles. Now they stay on all the time

replaced passenger side rotor and brake pads -front- took for test ride and now is stopping very smoothly. Checked the other side rotor and it looks to be very smooth and shiny. Replace it???? 2 answers

Should I replace opposite side also? The opposite side is smooth and shiny with only a slight ridge on outer edge.
