I NEED HELP!!!!!!

I would love it if someone could help me! I have a 2006 Avalanche LT. It is loaded with all of the options. Here is my problem. The man I purchased this truck had his IPhone linked to the hands free on the truck so I know it has it. My question is how do you link your phone to the truck???????? I have searched and searched and cant find an answer. PLEASE HELP
