SHOULD I TAKE MY VEHICAL IN TO THE DEALER FOR SERVICING?

Asked by VT9010 Mar 19, 2012 at 11:55 AM about the 2007 Saturn Outlook

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

THIS MORNING MY VEHICAL FAILED TO REMOTLY START W/THE REMOTE CONTROL AND I ALSO NOTICED THAT THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON AS WELL.

If the check engine light does appear on the dash, then several vehicles won't allow the remote start to function. For example my Dodge Challenger light was on one time and my remote start started the vehicle, but only let it run for a few seconds before killing it. Basically said, if you fix the problem with the engine light your remote start should work fine.
