My '78 bug caught fire on my way to work this morning. It is in the shop. Just wondered, in case my car gets totaled by the insurance company, how much will they give me. Anything fair? Do I get my car back even if they do total it and give me some cash?

if you have just normal insurance you will just get the lowest book price but if you have an agreed valuation of say for example 3000 you will get 3000 for it and not sure about if you get the car back once they have paid out
