I'd ask this question on a beetle car club forum...

If your buying forget the beetle... buy a Ghia or a 914 or a 912...
But that's just my opinion.

sorry dude but who cares about the serial no....it's a 38 year old v.w.....and of course it's in great shape...but it's still a v.w....sorry...hopefully this helps and the skies remain blue...
